As a result of  an Award In Honor of Kelly’s Dream

MAY, 2007

I would like to take this time to thank you for helping us reach our campaign goal of $30,000. It has been a very successful and gratifying time for us since our inaugural meeting in September 2005.

I would like to highlight for you the fundraisers and the accomplishments of the Foundation since our inception. None of this would have been possible without your generous support.

Sept. ’05 ~Kelly’s Kanopies has its 1st tree planting at Lepp Park in Somerville, NJ.
Jan. ’06 ~Jersey Coastal Parrot Head Club (JCPHC) hosts a buffet dinner-dance, raises $8,300 for "Kelly’s Dream".
May ’06 ~2nd tree planting for Kelly’s Kanopies, Whitehouse Elementary School in Whitehouse, NJ.
June ’06 ~Participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. We were able to distribute over 300 melanoma fact sheets to the participants.
Sep. ‘06 ~The 1st installment on a $25,000 pledge was made to Somerset Medical Center’s fundraising campaign for it’s new Steeplechase Outpatient Cancer Center.
"Kelly’s Dream" 1st annual fundraiser, silent auction and craft sale raised $5,300.
Jan. ’07 ~CJPHC hosts their 2nd buffet dinner-dance for
"Kelly’s Dream", raises $5,000.
May ’07 ~Distributed over 300 melanoma awareness pocket handouts and brochures to the Junior and Senior classes at Immaculata High School, Somerville NJ. This was in preparation for the Prom and summer season.
May ’07 ~3rd tree planting for Kelly’s Kanopies, Weston Elementary School in Manville, NJ.
May ’07 ~Donated $25,000 in Kelly Elizabeth’s name for a Research Grant through the Melanoma Research Foundation.

We have distributed over 2,000
"Kelly’s Dream" brochures and informative pocket handouts in our effort to shed light on melanoma. The development and printing of these awareness items was made possible through donations such as yours.
Our 1st campaign goal has been met, and now we start anew. We hope you will again partner with us to keep the "
Dream" alive….
